Hudson Williams Opens Up About His Ideal First Date at the 2026 Golden Globes
Hudson Williams made his debut at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 11, and he didn’t hold back when asked about his perfect first date.
Chatting with Gayle King on the red carpet, the 24-year-old Heated Rivalry star paused to think before giving a jaw-dropping answer.
“A lot of things. A lot of things. I don’t know,” he began. “Good conversation and good laughing and good f——.”
King, 71, laughed at the candid reply. “I think that does sound like a good first date,” she said.
Williams hit the carpet in a white peak-lapel dinner jacket with grosgrain trim, paired with a white silk evening shirt, black trousers, and a white grosgrain cummerbund—all by Giorgio Armani—topped off with a Bulgari necklace for extra shine. He and costar Connor Storrie, who play rival hockey stars on the HBO Max series Heated Rivalry (based on Rachel Reid’s book series), are slated to present an award during the ceremony.

The pair have been everywhere over the past few months, from viral interviews and sultry photo shoots to a string of high-profile events promoting the show. On the red carpet, Williams gushed about feeling confident in his Armani look and Bulgari jewelry, joking that while he’s not daunted by the show’s popularity, the sheer volume of emails he receives can be overwhelming.

Just days before the Globes, Williams appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, demonstrating hockey stretches and spilling details about the intimacy garments he and Storrie wore on set. “They call it a c— sock,” he told Fallon, prompting laughter and a remark that the episode included “the most bleeping we’ve ever done on the history of The Tonight Show.”
“They call it a modesty garment,” Williams added, “but by the end, they just gave up on any of them.”
